Sun Pharma comes out of the red in Q1 – Times of India

Mumbai: Sun Pharma It reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 1,444 crore for the quarter ended June, as against a net loss of Rs 1,655 crore in the year-ago quarter, buoyed by strong sales in key markets including India and the US. Consolidated sales from operations stood at Rs 9,669 crore, an increase of 29% over Q1 last year and 14% higher than the preceding Q4. company said the statement.
Branded formulations sales in India for Q1FY22 stood at Rs 3,308 crore, up 39%, and accounting for 34% of total sales. While US sales were $380 million, an increase of 35% compared to a year ago and 3% sequentially, which is about 29% of total sales. Sun Pharma MD Dilip Shanghvi “We saw a strong Q1.”
