Marathi actor Girija Prabhu, who plays Gauri Shirke-Patil in the popular Marathi show Sukh Mhenje Nakki Ke Aast, on Friday shared a picture with his brother on Instagram.
In a black and white picture posted on Instagram, the brother-sister duo smiles as they look into the camera. Girija’s fans have loved her picture and left lovely comments for the actor on the post.

The story of the story revolves around the wealthy Shirke Patil family of Kolhapur, consisting of father Yashwant Shirke-Patil (Grandfather), his wife Nandini (Mai), sons Malhar and Uday and their wives Shalini and Devaki.
Gauri (played by Girija Prabhu), a maid, is a member of the household. The family has taken him with them after his father gave up his life to save Dadasaheb. Although Mai and Dadasaheb love her as a daughter, she is constantly harassed and abused by the rest of the family.
The story begins when Yashwant Patil’s youngest son Jaideep Shirke-Patil returns from London with his girlfriend Jyothika, whom he hopes to marry. He tries to keep the family united by treating Gauri with the kindness he deserves, avoiding the influence of his cunning siblings and sisters. To protect his honour, Jaideep marries Gauri after several challenging circumstances.
Girija Prabhu has also acted in the Marathi film Dad Cheers released in 2019. Mohan Joshi and Swapnil Rajshekhar starrer Sant Neri Marathi Medium also featured Girija. She was also seen in the 2019 Marathi film Tuja Durva.
