BJP leader Subramanian Swamy keeps on targeting his own party. Now this time Swamy has launched a scathing attack on the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). He alleged rigging in the final of IPL 2022.

Subramanian Swamy wrote on social media – Intelligence agencies believe that the results of Tata IPL were rigged. This requires investigation and a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) needs to be filed for investigation.

In the final of IPL 2022, Gujarat Titans won the title by defeating Rajasthan Royals by 7 wickets. Batting first after winning the toss, Rajasthan team could score only 130 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, Gujarat achieved this target by losing 3 wickets in 18.1 overs.

After this victory, Gujarat also received a lot of money from BCCI and it got prize money of Rs 20 crore along with the trophy. Runner-up Rajasthan also got Rs 12.5 crore. The third place Bangalore got 7 crores and the fourth ranked Lucknow got a cash prize of 6.5 crores.

Purple cap for Chahal and Orange cap for Butler
Yuzvendra Chahal of Rajasthan, the highest wicket-taker, got 10 lakh rupees with a purple cap. Chahal took 27 wickets in the season. At the same time, Rajasthan opener Jos Buttler, who scored the highest run in the season, got Rs 10 lakh with an orange cap. Butler scored 863 runs in 17 matches.
