Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that books are being re-published with new creations and these books will give clarity about India to the world

Students across the country will be taught the ‘correct’ version of Indian history under the National education Policy (NEP) from Vasant Panchami on January 26, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said on Tuesday.

Speaking at an event jointly organized by the Indian Council of Historical Research (ICHR) and the RSS-affiliated Akhil Bhartiya Itihaas Sankalp Yojana, the minister said the books are being re-published with new creations and these books are about India. I will give clarity to the world.

Under the National Education Policy, from January 26, on the occasion of Vasant Panchami, students across the country will be taught the correct version of Indian history. NEP will provide us many opportunities. Mother tongue has been given priority in NEP. Providing education without giving priority to mother tongue is futile.

We should give a new global perspective to the ancient culture and civilization of India in the 21st century. Books are being republished with new creations. These books will give clarity about India to the world. These books will also be available in digital mode.

Pradhan said that the chairmanship of G20 is providing India Golden opportunity to present your heritage to the world.

He said, “We should make G20 a celebration as well as an opportunity to showcase India’s art, culture and civilization to the world.”

This program was organized at Gopal Narayan Singh University located at Jamuhar in Sasaram district of Bihar. Several scholars including Satyaprakash Bansal, Vice-Chancellor of the Central University of Himachal Pradesh participated in it.
