“The university is saving on miscellaneous expenses like power supply and other maintenance services. We are also not using laboratories, libraries and sports facilities. Why should we pay for them,” Shivangi told TOI. All India Students Association and Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad also came in support of Shivangi.
“Lou must learn Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University Which has reduced the fee for utility charges by Rs 17,000,” said Arihant Shekhar, a B.Com student. LU spokesperson Durgesh Srivastava said, “We are already charging very less fees from the students.”
