New Delhi: Strong tremors of earthquake were felt in Delhi and NCR regions on Tuesday afternoon, causing panic among the local residents.

According to initial reports, the tremors were felt around 2.30 pm. The tremors lasted for about 10–15 seconds, causing many people to come out of their homes and offices in panic. Several users posted videos of ceiling fans and household items shaking seconds after the quake was felt in the National Capital Region.
According to social media users, earthquake tremors were also felt in Uttarakhand’s capital Dehradun and other districts including Pithoragarh and Almora.
However, there is no news of loss of life or property so far.
