Strict Covid restrictions in Noida from Thursday as active cases cross 1,000: DM | Noida News – Times of India

Noida: Number of active Covid-19 cases cross 1,000 mark Gautam Buddh Nagar, the district administration said on Wednesday, as it announced strict restrictions such as the extension of night curfew, Government of Uttar Pradesh On Tuesday, additional restrictions were ordered to be automatically imposed in districts where the number of cases exceeds 1,000.

Regarding the restrictions that will be implemented in Gautam Buddh Nagar from Thursday, he said that the night curfew will be applicable from 10 am to 6 am instead of the earlier 11 am to 5 am.
The DM said, “A campaign will be conducted across the district to ensure adherence to the policy of ‘No Mask, No Shopping’. The aim is to increase awareness among the public about COVID-appropriate behaviour.”
He said that the Integrated COVID Command Center (ICCC) is operational round the clock and the district administration is in constant touch with the Resident Welfare Associations and Apartment Owners Associations regarding any case of a COVID-19 patient.
Surveillance cells have also been activated to provide immediate assistance to any needy person, he said, adding ICCC can be contacted on 18004192211 and any needy immunization, hospitalization or telephonic consultation with doctors can obtain information about.
The rate of transmission of the virus is high in this new wave, but patients with symptoms or requiring hospitalization are low, the official said.
“If we look only at the district figures, we have 1,110 active cases today, none of whom are in a state of additional oxygen support. If we look at our Covid-19 hospitals, we have 400 patients, some Foreigners are also included – returnees and some people who do not have adequate facilities for home isolation,” said Yathiraj.
“At present none of the patients are in ICU. There are some, but they are only co-morbidities,” he said.
