CBI may soon make many arrests in the matter of taking land in lieu of job in Railways. According to sources, there are many people in this circle from job seekers to those involved in the process of giving jobs. During the time when Lalu Prasad was the Railway Minister, the railway officers through whom these appointments were made will also be tightened soon. The CBI is not only investigating the irregularities in the appointment case of Lalu Prasad from 2004 to 2009, but what happened during the entire 11-year period.

The CBI has kept the scope of the investigation from the year 2004 to 2015. Actually CBI has got some important clues related to land transfer in lieu of job in these eleven years. According to CBI sources, it has come to the fore in the investigation that Brijanandan Rai, a resident of Mahuabagh, Patna, transferred 3375 square feet of land in Patna to Hridayanand Chaudhary, a resident of Gopalangaj, on March 29, 2008. This land was sold to Hridayanand for 4 lakh 21 thousand. Interestingly, Hridayanand Choudhary was posted in East Central Railway Hajipur in the year 2005.

In the preliminary investigation of the CBI, it has also come to the fore that Hridayanand Chaudhary transferred this land on February 28, 2014 to Hema Yadav, daughter of the then Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, through a gift deed. If Hridayanand Chaudhary is related to Lalu Prasad or not, it was also investigated that he is not related to Lalu Prasad.

In the investigation of CBI, it has come to the notice that at the time when this land was gifted to Hema Yadav, the circle rate of that land was about 62 lakh 10 thousand rupees. According to sources, the CBI had also raided the hideout of Hridayanand Chaudhary in Etawah village of Gopalganj’s Uchkagaon police station area on Friday.

Many railway officers who were close to Lalu will also be tightened
According to sources, the CBI may soon make several arrests in this case. Not only are the accused who got jobs by giving land in this scope, preparations have also started to tighten the noose on the railway officials, who were close to Lalu when he was the Railway Minister and his role in these appointments is under suspicion. The CBI has also prosecuted unknown public servants and non-government people.
