Stocks in focus on 30 May: The Nifty futures contract traded on the Singapore Exchange indicated a positive opening for domestic equities. The contract was trading at 18,708.50, up 18.5 points or 0.10% from its previous close.

ONGC: Chairman Arun Kumar Singh said the oil and gas producer will invest up to Rs 1 trillion by 2030 on energy transition targets as part of its goal of going carbon neutral by 2038. The company also plans to increase power generation from renewable sources to 10 GW. (Gw) By the end of the decade.

Vedanta, ITC: Vedanta, ITC will be in focus today as shares of companies will go ex-dividend today.

Adani Transmission: The company reported an 85 per cent year-on-year rise in its consolidated net profit to Rs 440 crore for the quarter ended March, 2023 (Q4FY23). Consolidated revenue from operations during Q4FY23, meanwhile, grew by 17 per cent to Rs 3,031 crore.

IRCTC: The company reported 30.4 per cent YoY growth in net profit at Rs 278.8 crore in Q4FY23 from Rs 214 crore in a year-ago period. Operating revenue also grew by 39.7 per cent to Rs 965 crore in the March quarter.

NBCC (India): The company reported a 205 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 108 crore in Q4FY23, as against Rs 35.39 crore in the year-ago period. In addition, the Board of Directors also recommended a final dividend of Rs 0.5 per share on the face value of paid-up equity shares.

Hub: The manganese iron ore company registered a record production of 402,000 tonnes of manganese ore in the fourth quarter of the last financial year (FY23), up 7 per cent from the year-ago period.

Heidelberg Cement India: The company reported a 62.64 per cent decline in its net profit to Rs 34.97 crore in Q4FY23 due to increase in input prices and lower sales volumes. Total revenue from operations declined by 2.9 per cent to Rs 602.04 crore in the fourth quarter of FY23.

Torrent Power: Higher revenue helped the company post a consolidated net profit of Rs 483.93 crore in Q4FY23 as against a consolidated net loss of Rs 487.37 crore in the year-ago period. Meanwhile, the total income increased to Rs 6,133.70 crore in Q4FY23.

WardWizard Innovation and Mobility: The electric two-wheeler maker entered into a strategic partnership with start-up incubator iCreate to mentor and fund promising EV startups in the country.

IPCA Laboratories: The company saw a 41.3 per cent decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 76.52 crore in Q4FY23. However, consolidated revenue from operations grew 17.3 per cent to Rs 1,512 crore in the March quarter.

Rail Vikas Nigam: Rail Vikas Nigam earned a net profit of Rs 359 crore in the fourth quarter. Revenue from operations stood at Rs 5,719 crore.
