The registration for SSC CHSL 2023 started on May 9, and candidates can apply on or before June 8 by visiting the official website of SSC, ssc.nic.in.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released a notification inviting applications for various posts in Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL, 10+2) Examination 2023. The registrations for SSC CHSL 2023 has started from 9th May, and candidates who wish to apply for the same can apply. The listed posts can do so online by visiting the official website of SSC at ssc.nic.in on or before June 8.

This recruitment will fill a total of 1600 (temporary) Group C posts in various Ministries/Departments/Offices of the Government of India. At present, recruitment is being done on the posts of Under Divisional Clerk/Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) and Data Entry Operator (DEO).

SSC CHSL 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Applying candidates must have completed their 12th class or equivalent examination from a recognized board or university to be considered eligible. The age of the applying candidates should be between 18 to 27 years as on 1st August 2023.

SSC CHSL 2023: Application Fee

Candidates applying for the posts of Lower Divisional Clerk/Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) and Data Entry Operator (DEO) have to pay an application fee of Rs 100.

Women candidates, Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWBD) and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) are excluded from paying the application fee.

SSC CHSL 2023: Selection Process

SSC CHSL 202 Recruitment process is divided into two major parts – Tier-I and Tier-II.

Tier-I exam will consist exclusively of objective type, multiple choice questions. For each wrong response, 0.50 marks will be deducted from the final score of the candidate.

Tier-II exam will be divided into three sections, each consisting of two modules as given below:

Section-I:

Module-I: Mathematical Abilities

Module-II: Reasoning and General Intelligence.

Section-II:

Module-I: English Language and Comprehension

Module-II: General Awareness 13.9.1.3

Section-III:

Module-I: Computer Knowledge Test

Module-II: Skill Test / Typing Test

Candidates have to clear all the sections of Tier II. Tier-II will consist of objective type, multiple choice questions, except for Module-II of Section-III.

SSC CHSL 2023: Salary

Those selected for the posts of Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) will be compensated at Pay Level – 2, which ranges between Rs 19,900 to Rs 63,200.

The pay scale for Data Entry Operator posts will be Pay Level 4 (Rs 25,500 – Rs 81,100) and Pay Level 5 (Rs 29,200 – Rs 92,300).
