They should hold a Master’s degree in the relevant field from a recognized college or university, with a minimum of 55 per cent marks for general candidates. Reserved category candidates such as SC, ST, and OBC can apply with a minimum of 50 per cent marks.
Additionally, candidates must fall within the age range of 21 to 42 years as of January 1, 2024, to qualify for the Odisha lecturer recruitment 2024. However, candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation in the upper age limit according to government norms.
SSB Odisha Recruitment 2024: Zones Of Examination
The written examination for the Odisha SSB lecturer recruitment 2024 will be conducted at various zones including Balasore, Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Bolangir, Cuttack, Jeypore, and Sambalpur. The allocation of examination centres to these zones will depend on the number of candidates from each respective zone.
If there are insufficient candidates for any particular zone, those candidates who opted for that zone will be accommodated in the nearest available zone. Requests for changing the examination zone will not be entertained under any circumstances, according to the official notice.
SSB Odisha Recruitment 2024: Selection Procedure
The selection for the SSB Odisha lecturer recruitment 2024 will be based on three main components: a written test, career assessment, and viva-voce test, collectively accounting for a total of 200 marks. The distribution of marks is as follows: Career Assessment (25 marks), Written Test (MCQ Type, 150 marks), and Viva-Voce Test (25 marks).
SSB Odisha Recruitment 2024: Application Fee
Candidates belonging to the General or Unreserved category are required to submit a non-refundable fee of Rs 500 to apply for the Odisha SSB lecturer recruitment 2024. On the other hand, candidates from reserved categories such as SC, ST, and PWD (those with 40 per cent permanent disability or more) will need to pay an application fee of Rs 200.
