SS Rajamouli’s film ‘RRR’ has been virtually unstoppable this international award season. The film continued its winning streak at the Hollywood Critics Association Awards. After winning 3 awards, the Ram Charan and Jr NTR film also won the ‘Best International Film’ award. SS Rajamouli and Ram Charan accepted the award with joy and pride. With this, RRR bagged top honors including Best Foreign Film, Best Original Song and Best Stunts at the HCA Film Awards.
Accepting the prestigious award, Ram Charan said, “I didn’t expect to be on stage, as my director asked me to accompany him, so … thank you very much for showering us with so much love.” It’s just a great response so we will be back with better movies and entertain you all. Thank you so much, thank you HCA!”
SS Rajamouli dedicated the award to Indian filmmakers and said, “Ah! Best International Film… Again to all my fellow filmmakers in India, this is what makes us all believe that we can make truly international films.” Yes! Thank you HCA for this. That…it means a lot. Thank you very much…very much. Jai Hind!”

Rajamouli said ‘My India is great’
When the director went on stage to collect the award, the audience booed and cheered him. “I think I need to go backstage and check…I think I’m going to start ruffling my wings already…with the other one! Thank you so much it means so much! I can’t express in words” How much it means…” said Rajamouli happily while accepting the award on behalf of his team.
He said, “It’s the ‘Best Action Film’ (award), we won the ‘Best Stunt’ (award), but maybe the ‘Best Stunt’ (award) was for the best stunt choreographer…and… I really Would love to have the stunt choreographers here to watch this because I think this is the team that works so hard and puts their lives on the line to entertain us. I take this opportunity to take this opportunity to win all the major awards To create a special category for stunt people…. Stunt Choreographers, they really deserve it! This is for all the stunt choreographers not only in my country but all over the world, in fact we all work hard to entertain.”
He concluded, “And finally, to my country, the land of wonderful stories, my great India! Jai Hind!”
