According to Rajesh Kumar, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of IRCTC (Patna), the journey to Srinagar will last for five nights and six days. The yatra will start on March 12 and end in Patna on March 17. IRCTC has fixed the airfare in a hotel at Rs 34,020 for one person and Rs 27,030 for double occupancy. However, a triple occupancy room with one child will cost Rs 26,310 per person.
“This time, IRCTC will take a maximum of 16 tourists on the ‘Jannat-e-Kashmir’ journey from Patna. During their five-night stay, the tourists will be taken on a tour of Srinagar, which is surrounded by vast lakes, Unique floating gardens in the meadows, and valley areas.They will be able to visit the Emerald Valley Kashmir, Gulmarg, Sonmarg and Pahalgam,” Rajesh told this reporter, adding that the privileged tourists would spend a night in a deluxe houseboat in Srinagar.
The PRO continued, “IRCTC will ensure that all tourists stay in comfortable hotels in Srinagar and arrange vehicles for sightseeing. Additionally, tourists will travel in economy class and will receive special security protection during their six-day stay. They serve breakfast and dinner too.”
The flight will depart from Patna at 8.25 am on March 12 and will reach Srinagar at 2.30 pm that day. Later the tourists will leave Srinagar at 1.05 pm on March 17 and reach Patna at 5.40 pm.
