Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has constituted a panel to restore law and order in the country. The panel comprises the Chief of Defense Staff, IGP, commanders of the three services and has been asked to restore law and order situation in the country.
Meanwhile, thousands of protesters took to the streets in Colombo after news broke that Gotabaya Rajapaksa had fled to the Maldives.
