Colombo: Sri Lanka’s left-arm fast bowler all-rounder isuru flight Announced his retirement from international cricket with immediate effect on Saturday, ending a career spanning more than a decade.
Udana had a very modest international career with sporadic appearances over 12 years in which he played only 21 ODIs and 35 T20 Internationals with only 45 wickets to show for his efforts.

The pacer said he feels the time is right for him to step aside and pave the way for a younger crop.
Notifying his decision, Udana said, “However, I believe that the time has come for me to retire from international cricket to make room for the next generation of players.” Sri Lanka Cricket.
The left-arm medium pacer made his T20I debut in the 2009 T20 World Cup against Australia in which Sri Lanka lost the final to Pakistan. His first ODI match came against India in 2012.

“Sri Lanka Cricket wishes Udana, who was a valuable player in Sri Lanka’s white-ball teams, the best in his future endeavours,” the SLC said on its website.
