SRH and KKR are meeting for the second time this season. The latest time they crossed swords was at the Eden Gardens where Harry Brook announced his arrival in the world’s most popular T20 league with a blistering century.
Brook was opening for SRH at that time, but barring that one show, he was very poor and consequently dropped down the batting order.
KKR have a similar problem – they are failing to settle a reliable opening pair. Jason Roy’s inclusion gave some hope but he was lost to Gujarat Titans due to fitness concerns. Rahmanullah Gurbaz played a brilliant inning in his absence.
One of the biggest positives for KKR though is the return of Andre Russell with both bat and ball. The two-time champion will be hoping for the biggie to get back to his destructive best before it is too late.
