Sreesanth shares photo with Harbhajan, fans asked ‘Do you remember that slap?’

S Sreesanth and Harbhajan Singh: S Sreesanth was one of the players of the Indian cricket team who was accused of match-fixing. Sreesanth was found guilty of spot-fixing during the 2013 IPL tournament. He has now completed his sentence and is now working on a return to Team India through domestic cricket. 38-year-old Sreesanth wants to play for Team India once again, but his path will not be easy.

Meanwhile, Sreesanth has been very active on social media recently. He keeps sharing pictures online on Facebook. He has now shared a picture with his old teammate and legendary spinner Harbhajan Singh. Fans started commenting as soon as Sreesanth shared the photo with Harbhajan.

Fans reminded him of the 2008 ‘Slapgate’ incident. One fan wrote, ‘Do you remember the old days of IPL?’ Another questioned, “Remember the slap?”. Harbhajan Singh played for Mumbai Indians during the 2008 IPL tournament. He slapped Sreesanth on the ground, after which Sreesanth was seen crying.

‘Slapgate’ had become one of the biggest controversies of the IPL at that time. After the incident, both the players had kept a distance, but looking at the new picture, it seems that both have already suppressed the rift and have become good friends.

Sreesanth and Harbhajan were involved in an altercation in 2008 when the latter was apparently slapped by Sreesanth after an IPL match in 2008. Since then, these two players have played together on several occasions. In fact, both Harbhajan and Sreesanth were part of India’s ICC 2011 World Cup victory.
