Spider-Man No Way Home Trailer: Web-slinging superhero faces enemies from the past

The trailer for Marvel Studios’ upcoming film Spider-Man: No Way Home has been released after Sony attempted to remove the leaked video throughout Monday. As promised, the upcoming film brings Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) together with Spider-Man for the first time since the events of Avengers: Endgame.

After the second Spider-Man film, Peter Parker’s (Tom Holland) identity as the web-slinging superhero is revealed and he is declared Public Enemy Number One. He’s no longer even an unsuspecting high school kid. Upset, Peter enlists Dr. Strange’s help to make everyone forget Spider-Man’s true identity. Dr. Strange casts the spell despite Wong’s (Benedict Wong) nod and it sets off a chain of events in which a new timeline is created and the enemy from Peter’s previous return. We get a glimpse of Dr. Octopus (Alfred Molina) from Spider-Man 2 starring Tobey Maguire. Then, we get a tease of Jamie Foxx’s electro, whom we first met in Andrew Garfield’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2. We also hear the Green Goblin laugh and see one of his exploding ornaments, which confirms that Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin from Spider-Man will also appear.

Take a look at this action packed Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer.

The next film in the Spider-Man franchise is gearing up for a December release.
