Spider-Man No Way Home Trailer Confirms ‘Goof-Up’ Major Fan Theory?

The makers of the much-loved film ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ have released a new trailer featuring all the villains from its universe.

The trailer begins where the previous installment ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ ended with his identity as Spider-Man at the end of the 2019 film.

Peter Parker enlists the help of Doctor Strange, played by Benedict Cumberbatch. But his indecision instead opens up the multiverse and exposes a suite of villains from the previous Spider-Man franchise, including Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin from 2002’s Spider-Man.

Alfred Molina’s Otto Octavius ​​from Spider-Man 2, Thomas Haden Church’s Sandman from ‘Spider-Man 3′, Rhys Ifans’ The Lizard from The Amazing Spider-Man, and Jamie Foxx’s Electro from 2014’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

The presence of so many bad guys from the previous Spider-Man franchises has raised hopes that actors who previously played characters like Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will also appear. Although the trailer confirmed that Doctor OK does not believe Holland to be Peter Parker, Maguire and Garfield were nowhere to be seen.

A clip of them together is going viral on social media, leading fans to believe that Andrew and Toby may have been ‘edited’ in the trailer, but that it will be in the film. One shot shows Sandman, Electro and the Lizard charging towards someone believed to be Spider-Man. In mid-air, the lizard turns its head as if being punched. But, no one seems to be punching them. Twitter users were quick to point out this.

The Tom Holland and Zendaya starrer will also star Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds and Marisa Tomei as Aunt May.

Sony Pictures Entertainment India released ‘Spiderman: No Way Home’ in theaters on December 17 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
