SpiceJet has suspended flight operations from Ahmedabad-Goa for a month, three days after the lessors requested the aviation regulator, DGCA, to deregister three of the airline’s aircraft, sources in the know said.

Low-cost carrier SpiceJet is facing bankruptcy proceedings as Ireland-based aircraft lessor Aircastle Ltd has moved the principal bench of the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) to initiate insolvency proceedings against the airline.
