Delhi on Tuesday reported 5,481 fresh Covid cases, the highest single-day increase since May 16, when the city reported 6,456 infections.
The new cases have taken the infection to 14,63,701.
According to a source in Delhi’s health department, this is the start of the third Covid wave in the city, where three deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 25,113.
