Mumbai: Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela was the only Indian who served as the Miss Universe judge at the Universe Dome in Israel. The Tinsel Town diva while talking exclusively to ABP News said that she was confident that Bharat (Harnaaz Sandhu) would clinch the coveted title.
Urvashi, who has participated in several beauty pageants including Miss Universe 2015, said she was thrilled to see Harnaaz win the Miss Universe title on December 13. “It was a wonderful experience for me to witness this glorious moment as a judge,” he added. ,
The ‘Pagalpanti’ actress revealed that she gave full marks to Sandhu in three different rounds after judging him on all parameters. “A contestant competing in a competition must have ‘beauty with purpose.’ Harnaaz showed confidence and it was quality,” she said.
Talking about Miss Universe 2021, Urvashi said, “I closely scrutinized Harnaaz’s profile and other contestants during the six-hour long selection process.”
Pahari Beauty expressed happiness over Sandhu’s historic victory in the beauty pageant. “It is recorded in the history books that an Indian won the Miss Universe title when I was a judge,” she said. Harnaaz is the second Indian to win the Miss Universe title. B-Town beauties- Sushmita Sen and Lara Dutta bagged the coveted title in 1994 and 2000 respectively.
Urvashi also spoke about meeting former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and shared her experience of judging Miss Universe 2021. The second part of the exclusive interview will be published soon.
