Thiruvananthapuram: As part of the precautionary measures to maintain law and order in the district in view of the Onam celebrations, the district rural police on Saturday arrested 107 people who are accused in various criminal cases. The arrested include 13 fugitives and 94 people against whom warrants were issued.
The intense raid, which started at 5am, was headed by rural SP Shilpa Devaiah with the help of five sub-division officers and 38 station house officers. The raid will continue in the coming days to nab all the absconding criminals.
