Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party chief Om Prakash Rajbhar, while describing his alliance with the Samajwadi Party for the 2022 Uttar Pradesh elections, says, “I have played a hand that will fix everything.” In an interview to News18, Rajbhar expressed confidence that the elections will bring back SP chief Akhilesh. Yadav overtook Yogi Adityanath as the chief minister. A former minister in the ruling BJP government, Rajbhar claims that his former allies are divided into three lobbies, all pulling in different directions.

You recently met Mukhtar Ansari, a mafia-turned-politician in Banda Jail…
At present, there is selective action against criminals in this country which is determined by their caste and religion. The BJP government is targeting backwards and Dalits as well as Muslims and Brahmins. I have seen many big mafia members who are in jail and this government is feeding them sweets. I have known Mukhtar Ansari for a long time. I met Mukhtar Ansari seven times in Banda Jail when I was a minister in the Yogi Adityanath government. When he (Ansari) was in Ropan (Punjab) I met him eight times. The BJP had no problem then, as I was with them.
No one is criminal with BJP no matter what he does. Sanjay Nishad recently said that Lord Rama was not the son of King Dasharatha. Does BJP have the guts to act against him? Deputy CM Dinesh Sharma once said that Sita Lie Test tube baby. Did BJP take any action against him? Big crime is given big reward in BJP. BJP doesn’t know that even when I was with them, around 12,000 Muslims voted for me. Had they not voted for me, I would not have won.
How strong do you think SBSP has become in Purvanchal after its alliance with Samajwadi Party?
In Mau, SP and SBSP did a small program, after which the BJP went on the back foot in the entire state. After that program Amit Shah had to come to UP. Yogi From Went to Azamgarh and said that on the request of Amit Shah the state university would be named after Raja Suheldev. these are’Total party people.
The report of the Social Justice Committee has not been implemented. Amit Shah came to Lucknow twice and held a meeting. jury (meeting) with Yogi and me. The report was prepared and even after two and a half years, Yogi did not accept Amit Shah’s suggestion. Why will Yogi listen to Amit Shah now? Renaming Azamgarh State University after Raja Suheldev is just another Total (gimmick) Like he had promised Rs 15 lakh for votes.
What are your views on BJP’s strategy of drinking tea with 100 Dalits and their families?
When BJP wants votes, they wash the feet of Dalits and then drink that water. But when a Dalit’s daughter is raped, the dead body is burnt in the middle of the night and the criminals are saved from the BJP. Such are the actions of BJP’gale mein maala, vicharon pe taala,
Who do you think is responsible for not implementing the report of the Social Justice Committee?
I hold both BJP and Yogi Adityanath responsible for this. There are three lobbies in BJP at present. The first lobby is of Yogi and RSS, the second is of Amit Shah’s team and Keshav Maurya, while the third lobby is of Brahmins. There has been a dispute between Yogi and Keshav Maurya, after which the people of the Sangh (RSS) intervened. However, the situation worsened. Of the three lobbies, one is working to defeat Yogi, the other is working for the victory of BJP, while the third one is working to make a Brahmin the CM of the state.
Why did you choose SP as an ally for Uttar Pradesh Election 2022?
I am 100% sure that Akhilesh From Will become the next Chief Minister of the state. We allied with SP as it is the only party which is in a position to fight BJP. Congress and BSP are not. There is a wave in favor of SP and people want change. People from our party and other allies suggested us to have an alliance with Samajwadi Party. Till now the alliance was done by the political leaders, but this time the alliance has been formed on the basis of the demand of the people.
Now what will be the fate of Partnership Sankalp Morcha?
There are many people of Bhagidari Sankalp Morcha including Prem Chandra Prajapati, Babu Rampal, Ramsagar Bind, Anil Chauhan, Satish Banjara and Prem Chand Kashyap. Our next big meeting will be held on 27th November at Jhawar ka Maidan of Bharwan block of Sandila Vidhan Sabha of Hardoi District of Lucknow Zone. We are expecting a crowd of at least 5 lakh people. our whole front I will be there with Akhilesh Yadav and me.
How has the politics of Uttar Pradesh changed with the coming together of SBSP and SP?
Rajbhar aisa dao lagaya hai ki sab sahi ho jayega (Rajbhar has played a hand that will make everything right). We changed the politics of Uttar Pradesh. There is a news channel which was giving 270 seats to BJP when our alliance was yet to be announced. After the alliance was finalized, the same channel started giving 230 seats to the BJP. After the formal announcement of our alliance, the channel gave only 212 seats to the BJP.
There are almost six months left in the elections and if they keep reducing 15 seats every month, I don’t know where BJP will disappear. The people of the state now want change. They are fed up with inflation, corruption, high electricity bills gunda raj BJP government. People also want caste based census and now they are adamant on changing this government.
