Lucknow: Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday claimed that his party and its allies in the upcoming assembly elections, great castGovernment will be formed in Uttar Pradesh.
Addressing a meeting of Mahan Dal workers here, Yadav said he was insisting till now that SP will get 350 seats but after Mahan Dal’s program they will win 400 seats.
He said, “When I talk about (winning) 400 seats, people start raising questions. But, when BJP Talking about bullet train, no one questions it. You (BJP) had said that Varanasi will be transformed into Kyoto. But, one can see what the city has become.”
The former chief minister claimed that the SP would take journalists to Kyoto if voted to power. “Cleaning up in Kyoto is unimaginable,” he said.
Attacking deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Yadav described him as “fake” and said, “The real Keshav is Mahaan Dal’s Keshav Dev Maurya.”
Speaking on the occasion, Keshav Dev Maurya said, ‘BJP is saying that everyone is fighting with BJP. But the reality is that everyone is fighting against Akhilesh Yadav.
He said that if need be, he can merge his party with the SP to fight the BJP, and added that he will continue to be an ally of the SP till he is thrown out of the alliance.
