South African rapper and songwriter Costa Tich has died after collapsing during the Ultra South Africa music festival in Johannesburg. The 27-year-old musician was singing one of his songs when he collapsed on the stage. Afterwards, he got up and resumed his performance, but fainted. His cause of death has not yet been determined.

Social media platforms are abuzz with a video of Costa Tich fainting. In the video, the rapper collapses while singing the song, then gets up and performs again as the audience cheers. He again fell unexpectedly, and when he did not get up, people rushed to his aid.

His death was confirmed by his family on social media. He released a statement on the official Instagram handle of Costa Teach. The note read, “Death has tragically knocked on our door. Robbing us of our beloved son, brother and grandson, Konstantinos Sobanoglu (28), known by South Africa under his stage name “Kosta Tich”. Loved and worshipped. With deep pain that we find ourselves at this time to acknowledge his passing. We are grateful to the emergency responders and all who were on this earth in his final hours. As a family We are facing a difficult time as we try to make sense of what has happened to us and ask to be given time and space to collect ourselves.”

The note continued, “The Tsobanadio family thanks you for the love and support you have given to our son and may you continue to uplift him in spirit. Please keep us in your prayers and uplift in the Lord.” “
