Mumbai: A biopic on the life of former Indian cricket men’s team captain Sourav Ganguly is in the works, which will be produced by Luv Films. Ganguly, affectionately called Dada, is one of the most successful captains in the history of Indian cricket and currently serves. Chairman of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
Luv Films, a production house founded by filmmakers Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg, shared the announcement of the film on Instagram on Thursday. “We are thrilled to announce that Luv Films will produce the biopic of Dada Sourav Ganguly,” the statement read. The producer added, “We have been entrusted with this responsibility and we are looking forward to a great innings.”

Luv Films has produced films like “Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety”. , “De De Pyaar De”, “Malang” and “Chhalaang”. Headlines to come under the banner include “Kutty” and “Uff”, directed by Luv Ranjan, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor.
