Sonu Sood has been in films for almost two decades. He started his career in the late 90s but rose to fame with films like ‘Jodha Akbar’, ‘Dabangg’, ‘Shootout at Wadala’ to name a few. He became the messiah for migrant workers, Covid patients and others during the lockdown time. He was praised for helping people in difficult times, which made him the talk of the town. Now, again, the actor has helped an 18-year-old boy selling strawberries on the roadside in Himachal. He shared a video on Instagram, in which he can be seen interacting with the boy from Bihar.

He captioned the post, “Strawberries anyone? #supportssmallbusiness.” In the video, Sonu asks the boy if he misses his family living in Bihar and he tells him that he is doing a great job. He also asked the boy in the video to leave a message for the family. Sonu asked him to repeat it after him, “Ek Bihari sab pe bhari.”

The ‘Messiah’ of the common man, Sonu has once again proved himself to be the biggest supporter of small businesses. Earlier, the actor promoted a roadside maize vendor on his social media account, now he has chosen to highlight a young strawberry vendor in Himachal Pradesh who has captured the hearts of his followers.

Speaking to ANI, Sonu said, “These people are living far away from home, they go out to sell vegetables, fruits etc. I have met many people in Bihar, UP, Jharkhand. Here, Himachal The oxygen level is high.” Therefore, it is necessary to help these people. Not only by buying their things but by boosting their morale. They will be missing their families, so they will feel that we are supporting them.”

He also urged the people not to bargain with such vendors. He said, “Don’t bargain too much. What will you do by saving Rs 10-20 from them? We should support them and I request everyone not to bargain with them.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Sonu Sood is back as a host in the show ‘Roadies 19’. He is all set to start writing for this film. Fateh, directed by Vaibhav Mishra, is based on cybercrime.
