Sonam Kapoor Discussed her attitude towards health and fitness after the birth of son Vayu. The new mom said she’s in no rush to return to her pre-pregnancy body. Sonam, on the other hand, indicated that her primary concern is her health. Sonam Kapoor is a mother for seven months. She added that, while she exercises for health, she is not on a “crazy diet” to shed the pregnancy weight. Sonam stated that she is currently breastfeeding and hopes to do so for “at least a year”, adding that her body needs “food, rest and energy”.
In an interview with Grazia India, Sonam Kapoor opened up on her thoughts on the expectations of the female body and how it changes during pregnancy as life progresses. The Veere Di Wedding actress further added that body image concerns start to emerge after motherhood. This happens because the body retains its post-pregnancy shape and symptoms for a while, she explained.

In the interview, the actress also told an oft-repeated anecdote about how she always sent her exact measurements so that she wouldn’t come back from a shoot and realize she was too big to fit into tiny clothes. Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja dated for several years before getting married in Mumbai in May 2018. Their son Vayu was born last year. Sonam and Anand had announced the wonderful news of the arrival of their baby boy on Instagram. These days Sonam was in Delhi to go to her in-laws place with Anand and Vayu. She was in Mumbai for the first Dior fashion show as well as Neeta Mukesh Ambani Inauguration ceremony of the cultural center.
