Directed by Vinay Vaikul, ‘The Broken News’ has garnered over 100 million streaming minutes and over 6 million views in a week since its premiere. Centered around a pair of rival television channels operating from the same Mumbai building, the 8-part series represents two opposing philosophies of journalism and immerses viewers in the workings behind the scenes of a newsroom. It also addresses some pressing questions and reflects the current realities going on in the world’s largest democracy.
