Sonakshi Sinha ‘Can’t Stop Smiling’ As Her Heeramandi Song Tilasmi Bahein Is Out – News18

Sonakshi Sinha has a little confession to make. The actress “can’t stop smiling”. After all, her “first Bhansali song”, Tilasmi Bahein from Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar is finally out and it is pure gold. Just a day after the release of Tilasmi Bahein, Sonakshi Sinha dropped a series of pictures of herself, while expressing gratitude in the caption.

The stunning click shows the actress dressed in a purple sharara set, which she wore during the song launch event on Wednesday. The beautiful ensemble boasts an overall tie-dye print and she teamed it with an oxidised jewellery set. Sharing the pictures, Sonakshi wrote, “Can’t stop smiling with all the coming in for Tilasmi Bahein… grateful.”

Before this, Sonakshi Sinha dropped a montage video, showing glimpses of the Tilasmi Bahein launch event. In the clip, the actress can be seen getting dressed for the event. The video also shows the actress excitedly saying “My first Bhansali song guys,” with the crowd bursting into cheers and hooting. Along with the clip, the actress wrote, “The BIG launch!! My first Bhansali Production song is out… Tilasmi Bahein aap sab ke shukraguzaar hai…Special props to my fabulous team who make sure I shine on and off screen. Teamwork makes the dream work.”

Tilasmi Bahein is the second song of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. Last month, the makers unveiled the series’ first track Sakal Ban. Tilasmi Bahein features Sonakshi Sinha, draped in a gleaming gold saree, dancing her heart out. The music video of Tilasmi Bahein shows Sonakshi Sinha as the life of a party and she is surrounded by a sea of people. The text on the music video reads “Get ready for the spell of Tilasmi Bahein.” The clip ends with a glimpse of Aditi Rao Hydari, who appears to be visibly disappointed with Sonakshi Sinha. Tilasmi Bahein is composed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, while it is crooned by Sharmistha Chatterjee. The lyrics are written by AM Turaz and the video has been choreographed by Kruti Mahesh.

Sonakshi Sinha also shared the music video of Tilasmi Baahein on her Instagram timeline. Unveiling the name of her character, the actress wrote, “She moves like magic, welcome to the world of Fareedan…Tilasmi Bahein song is out now – Link in Bio! Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar coming on 1st May, only on Netflix.”

Apart from Sonakshi Sinha, Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar features Aditi Rao Hydari, Manisha Koirala, Richa Chadha, Sharmin Segal and Sanjeeda Shaikh. The series will premiere on Netflix on May 1.
