Soha Ali Khan said that watching a newborn grow up in the first year is always a special experience.
The Pataudi clan recently welcomed a new member into the family with the birth of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s second son Jeh. With the arrival of Jeh, Pataudi now has 3 small children in his house. Now, Saif’s sister and actress Soha Ali Khan has opened up about the presence of a new member in the family and her own parenting experience. talking to india today, Soha said that it was a lovely experience to have Jeh in her life. He said that the experience of watching a newborn grow in the first year is always special because you get to see many babies before that.
Soon after Kareena gave birth to Taimur, Soha had a daughter, Inaaya. She recalled how Kareena used to care for her during her pregnancy and take great care of her. Soha said that it was very helpful for her that someone close to her just before her had to go through the same phase.
Soha and Kareena often talked about their experience during pregnancy and all the things they went through. Soha said that being around Kareena during her pregnancy was very relaxing.
The actress shared her experience of spending time with her daughter Inaaya during the COVID-19 lockdown. The actress said that her presence brought an event to lifestyle and the lockdown has been really productive. Soha spends her free time doing some gymnastics and baking. She also revealed that she got a chance to learn some of the basics of Spanish while helping her attend language classes online.
Soha said that initially she felt guilty for leaving Inaaya at work, but she learned from her mother Sharmila Tagore’s point of view. Soha believed that as a working mother you should work on creating a support system that can take care of your child in your absence. So, instead of feeling guilty, the idea should be to let other people help you raise your child and enjoy being a part of the process.
