Smriti Irani furious at the state government: Said – How did Satyendra Jain, arrested in money laundering, continue on the post of minister?

Health Minister Satyendar Jain in Delhi government has recently been arrested in a money laundering case. Regarding this, Union Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani questioned Kejriwal in a press conference on Wednesday afternoon. He asked how Jain continues to hold the post of minister despite his arrest.

Irani asked- How did you give clean chit?
Irani said- I want to ask Kejriwal that Jain did money laundering through shell companies and he also has 200 bighas of land in unauthorized colonies of Delhi. Jain has done a scam of Rs 16.39 crore from these companies, despite this Kejriwal has given him a clean chit.

Smriti also said that yesterday Kejriwal had said that corruption means traitor to the country, so are you promoting traitors in the country. The court had declared the role of Satyendra Jain? The court had given the order in 2019. Since then till now Kejriwal knew Jain had black money, even after this Kejriwal did not take any action against him. From this it seems that Satyendra Jain’s scam is some compulsion of Kejriwal.

There was also inquiry in 2018
Last month, the ED had attached assets worth Rs 4.81 crore of the Jain family and their associated companies. In 2018 also, ED had questioned Satyendra Jain in this case. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, appearing in the court on behalf of ED, said that we have data entry as to how money was invested in hawala.

Kejriwal said – become a victim of revenge politics
Regarding the arrest of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal Jain had said that Health Minister Satyendar Jain is being targeted for political reasons. I have studied everything related to this case. This case is completely fake and I have full faith in the judiciary. On Monday, the ED arrested the Health Minister of Delhi in a case related to hawala, after which the opposition parties have been continuously demanding the dismissal of Jain. Describing Satyendra Jain as a patriot, Kejriwal has also demanded the government to give him Padma Vibhushan.

Jain was not cooperating in the investigation
The major reason for the arrest of Satyendra Jain has also come to the fore that he was not cooperating with the ED in the investigation. The information related to the case was being hidden from the investigating agency. It has been almost eight years since this case went on. On April 5, Bhaskar had told that ED is eyeing Satyendra Jain.
