SKM will hold meeting on November 27 to decide the future course of action of farmers

Farmer leaders have been saying that till the Center formally repeals these laws in Parliament, the protesters will remain in the border areas of Delhi.

Farmer leader Balbir Singh Rajewal on Sunday said that the United Kisan Morcha (SKM) will hold another meeting on November 27 to decide the future course of action, while the farmers’ march to Parliament on November 29 will be as per schedule.

Addressing a press conference at Singhu border after a meeting, Rajewal said, “We discussed the repeal of agricultural laws. After this, some decisions were taken. The pre-scheduled programs of SKM will continue as is. Kisan Panchayat Lucknow Will be held in. 22 November, Assembly on all borders on 26 November and march to Parliament on 29 November.

The SKM, an umbrella body of agitating unions, held a meeting earlier on Sunday to decide on the next course of action, including the MSP issue and the proposed daily tractor march to Parliament, during the upcoming winter session.

Farmer leaders have been saying that the protesters will remain in Delhi’s border areas until the Center formally repeals these laws in Parliament following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s surprise announcement on Friday and the MSP’s statutory mandate. Their movement to take back the guarantee and power is indicated. The amendment bill will continue.
