India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh reminded Pakistan pacer Mohammad Amir of the 2010 spot-fixing scandal when the two cricketers on Twitter traded jibes on the social media platform on Tuesday night. It all started when Amir targeted Harbhajan after India’s defeat against Pakistan t20 world cup Sunday Night Opener.
Aamir wrote on Twitter, “Hello everyone woh pochna yes tha @harbhajan_singh pa ji ne tv to phir apna koi ni hota hai, which is a game of cricket.” TV doesn’t matter, it’s a game of cricket in the end.”
However, the joke quickly turned into personal attacks and both the cricketers shared clips of each other hitting each other for sixes.

In response to Harbhajan sharing a clip of Amir hitting a six, the Pakistan pacer shared another clip of Shahid Afridi hitting an Indian for a six during a Test.
And then, Harbhajan reminds Amir what happened at Lord’s. He wrote about how much he was paid for bowling a no-ball during the 2010 Lord’s Test against England, while slamming him for ‘defaming this beautiful game’.

In another tweet, the offspinner wrote, “For people like you @iamamirofficial only Paisa Paisa Paisa Paisa .. na izzat na kuch and only paisa .. will not tell how much your countrymen and supporters got .. for insulting this game. And talking to people like you to fool people with your antics.”
Mohammad Asif, Amir and Salman Butt were punished, including bans from all forms of cricket, for their involvement in the 2010 spot-fixing scandal.
