The tricity recorded six new cases of Kovid on Thursday. No virus-related deaths were reported.
Chandigarh: 2 new cases
Two new cases were reported in the UT on Thursday, taking the total number of cases to 65,110. The active cases were 37, the positivity rate was 0.09 per cent. The total number of samples tested in the last 24 hours is 2268.
As per the ongoing COVID vaccination campaign, 7,112 people got the jab.
Mohali: 4 new cases
Four new Kovid cases were reported in the district on Thursday, taking the total number of cases to 68,620, with 49 remaining active. No death has been reported from the infection. A total of 1,060 deaths have been recorded in the district so far.
DC Girish Dayalan said that two cases each have been reported from Dhakoli and Mohali. He said three patients were discharged after recovering from the infection.
Panchkula: No new case
No new Kovid case was reported in Panchkula on Thursday.
The number of active cases was recorded at 13. The recovery rate remained stable at 98.75 percent. So far, a total of 40,368 cases have been reported in Panchkula, out of which 30,687 infected persons are from the district itself. A total of 377 people have succumbed to the virus so far.
The district has conducted 4,11,676 tests so far.
