Single dose vaccine given to 50% of population in 9 states – Check status of BJP and non-BJP states

New Delhi: A total of 530 million vaccine doses have been given across the country so far. At least 410 million people have received their first dose of the vaccine. 30 percent of India’s population has been given the first dose, while 9 percent have taken both doses. There are 9 states in the country where 50 percent of the population has received the first dose. These states are Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh.

UP lags behind

BJP-ruled Uttar Pradesh is the state where the highest dose of vaccine has been given. But UP lags behind in terms of population. The highest dosage (5.63 crore doses) has been given in UP. But only 31 percent of the population has been given the first dose. More people have been vaccinated in West Bengal, Bihar, Punjab, Jharkhand, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra than in UP.

Himachal Pradesh Pioneer

Himachal Pradesh has vaccinated maximum adult population of 77 percent. It is followed by Jammu and Kashmir with 66 percent, Uttarakhand 64 percent, Gujarat 60 percent, Madhya Pradesh 55 percent, Karnataka 54 percent, Kerala 54 percent, Rajasthan 52 percent and Chhattisgarh 50 percent.

one up– a total of 56.3 million doses

2) middle State– a total of 36.7 million doses

3) Gujarat– a total of 38.6 million doses

4) Bihar– a total of 28.9 million doses

5) Haryana– Total 13.33 crore doses

Vaccination status in non BJP ruled state

1) Maharashtra– a total of 479 million doses

2) Rajasthan– a total of 36.3 million doses

3) West Bengal– Total 33.33 crore doses

4) Kerala– a total of 228 million doses

5) Delhi– Total 1 crore 12 lakh doses
