Navjot Sidhu’s trepidation for the CM’s chair in Punjab has come to the fore again. Sidhu even said abusive words for Charanjit Singh Channi, the first CM of Punjab who came from Scheduled Caste. Punjab Congress started its march from Zirakpur on Thursday. During this, Sidhu said that if the son of Sardar Bhagwant Singh (Navjot Sidhu’s father) was made the CM, then we would see what the success is. Sidhu said for Channi that he will drown the Congress in 2022.
Punjab Congress’s Lakhimpur Kheri Fury March was taken out from Mohali Airport Chowk on Thursday under the leadership of Sidhu. Sidhu reached on time this March, but due to convoy and jam, CM Channi got a little late in his arrival. Sidhu got furious on this and vented his anger about Channi.

However, they returned after a while due to the son’s wedding ceremony being held in the house.
Here, Pargat Singh once more while showing the crowd said that today it has become a bat-bat. Sukhwinder Danny, the working head standing near Sidhu, also said – This program is successful. After the conversation of these two, Sidhu got in a rage and said – Where is the success now, if I make me the CM, then show the success. After this, Sidhu abused CM Channi and said that in 2022 it will drown the Congress itself.

Could not become CM, wish of super CM also incomplete
Sidhu himself wanted to become the CM by replacing Captain Amarinder Singh in Punjab. The Congress high command had agreed to Sunil Jakhar, but the legislators opposed it, saying that Punjab was a Sikh state. After this it was decided to make Sukhjinder Randhawa the CM. On this Sidhu also staked his claim on the post of CM. As the dispute escalated, Charanjit Channi was made the Chief Minister by finding a middle ground.
After Charanjit became CM, Sidhu started walking by holding his hand, and sometimes with his hand on his shoulder. This sent a message that Sidhu wanted to become the super CM of Punjab, in which the face should be of Channi, but he should keep all the work in his hands. When even this wish was not fulfilled, Sidhu demanded to project the next CM of Punjab, but the Congress high command refused that too. After this, angry Sidhu resigned from the post of Punjab Congress President.
Akali Dal’s taunt – suffering from the CM of the Scheduled Castes
After this video surfaced, Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) has taunted Sidhu. Akali Dal spokesperson Daljit Cheema said that the respect Sidhu has for the post of CM, it is proved by the fact that he could not even wait for 2 minutes for him. Sidhu’s pain is that a Scheduled Caste person was made CM. Cheema said that Sidhu’s march was not for the farmers but to get ahead of each other.
