Sidhu said that the government figures say that 7 lakh people are taking medicines from their drug de-addiction clinics. If so, then 5% of the population became drug addicts. The government does not have any correct information.

Why not survey like voters?
Navjot Sidhu raised the question that voters are counted at the time of elections. Voters are tracked from house to house. Then why can’t it be done in the case of drugs. This will give accurate information to the government. Based on that further steps can be taken.

How to tell government no helpline number
Sidhu said that if a youth wants to give up drugs, then how should he tell the government?, there is no helpline number. Sidhu said that every tehsil and sub tehsil should have an ambulance in an area of ​​7 to 10 kms. Who can take drug addicts to the hospital. This will stop the deaths. Now if the young man is lying somewhere after getting intoxicated, then he dies there.
