Congress sources said that though they would not officially make an announcement that could turn ‘Barsi’ into a political event, the party wanted to highlight Musewala and his murder to put pressure on the Mann government.

The father of slain Punjabi singer Sidhu Musewala on Sunday announced a large gathering on his son’s first death anniversary, a gathering keenly watched by his followers and political leaders, with the state Congress top leadership expected to attend. was expected. In view of the death threats being received by Balkaur Singh, Mansa Deputy Commissioner Baldeep Kaur has announced a ban on flying drones in New Anaj Mandi on Sunday.
