New Delhi: The popular Sinhalese song ‘Manike Mange Hite’ became a global sensation since its release. Yohani, the singer of this song, became so popular that she is reportedly getting many opportunities and offers to sing in films.
Yohani’s song ‘Manike Mange Hite’ will now have a Bollywood version as Sidharth Malhotra is all set to dance to the song in one of his upcoming films. According to a Spotboye report, Yohani will make her Bollywood debut with this Hindi version of ‘Manike Mage Hite’, which will be featured as an item song in the upcoming film ‘Thank God’.
‘Thank God’ is an upcoming film starring Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra in lead roles. The ‘Sooryavanshi’ actor will reportedly play the role of ‘Yamraj’ in this upcoming life comedy film. Written and directed by Indra Kumar, ‘Thank God’ is being produced by T-Series and Maruti International.
The film will feature Rakul Preet Singh in the lead role and Nora Fatehi will be seen in a special role in ‘Manike Mange Hite’.
On a related note, Yohani also visited Salman Khan’s show ‘Bigg Boss 15’ during her India tour. He also met and spent time with Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez, who is also of Sri Lankan origin.
