Sidharth Malhotra to attend screening of ‘Shershaah’ at first Himalayan Film Festival

actor Siddharth Malhotra She is in Ladakh for the first time to attend the screening of her hit film ‘Sher Shah’ at the Himalayan Film Festival. On Friday, Sidharth posted a few videos on Instagram Stories from his flight to Ladakh. In the clip, he can be seen expressing happiness over the honor of being a part of the festivities. He also shared a post, writing a quote from William Shakespeare, “There is music in the earth for those who hear” – William Shakespeare.

Directed by Vishnuvardhan, ‘Shershaah’ is based on the life of Param Vir Chakra awardee Vikram Batra, who laid down his life in the service of the nation while capturing Indian territories from Pakistani infiltrators during the Kargil War in 1999.

The film, which was released a month ago, was praised by everyone. Be it the performances of the actors or the songs, ‘Sher Shah’ became a huge hit for many reasons.

Dharma Productions, one of the production companies behind the project also shared the news with fans on their Instagram handle. The post read, “Our Sher Shah is back in the land of Ladakh to attend the screening of the film at the Himalayan Film Festival for the first time! Yeh Dil Hama Maange Aur.”

As ‘Shershaah’ marked a month of release on September 12, actors Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani were grateful for the love and appreciation of the audience towards the film. Taking to Instagram, Sidharth wrote, “Marking a month of your undying love for Team Shershah.” Along with the note, he also shared a video featuring several iconic scenes from the film.

the creator Karan Joharalso expressed his happiness. He wrote on Instagram, “It’s been a month of overwhelming response, setting benchmarks, breaking records & winning hearts… that’s on! #Shershaah.” Shiv Pandit, Raj Arjun, Pranay Pachauri, Himanshu Ashok Malhotra, Nikitin Dheer, Anil Charanjit, Sahil Vaid, Shataf Figur and Pawan Chopra among many others also starred in the hit war drama.

Speaking about the Himalayan Film Festival (THFF), it will be inaugurated by the Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Anurag Thakur Today in Leh, Ladakh.
