actor Sidharth ShuklaHis sudden demise has shocked everyone in the film industry. It is learned that the 40-year-old actor suffered a heart attack on Thursday morning. He was brought dead at Cooper Hospital in Mumbai.

Sidharth was best known for his role in the long-running TV show Balika Vadhu and rose to unprecedented fame in 2020 after winning season 13 of the reality TV show Bigg Boss. He is survived by his mother and two sisters. Actor Karan Kundrra, who was one of the last people to speak to Sidharth, shared that they had a phone conversation the night before his death and they discussed how he was ‘doing well’.

“Shocking.. last night we were talking about how well you are doing.. can’t believe it! gone too soon dude gone too soon RIP will always remember you smiling.. so sad (sic) ,” Karan wrote on social media along with a picture of Sidharth.

Siddharth started his career in showbiz as a model and made his acting debut with the lead role in the television show Babul Ka Aangan Chhote Na. He later appeared in shows like Yeh Ajnabee, Love You Zindagi, but became a household name with Balika Vadhu.

Apart from working in TV shows, Sidharth made his Bollywood debut in 2014 with Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, produced by Karan Johar, where he played a supporting role alongside Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt.
