Shweta Tiwari’s ex-husband Raja Chaudhary met his daughter Palak Tiwari in March this year after a gap of 13 years. They also celebrated their birthday together, where Palak made a special cake for them. While the father-daughter reunion has been very special for Raja, the actor has now shifted full-time to Mumbai to spend real time with his daughter.
Speaking to ETimes, Raja said that he and Palak had a memorable night chatting together and during that meeting he decided that he was hungry for his daughter’s love. “I really want him in my life. And so that night I decided that I will now live in Mumbai and revive my acting career. I already have a house in Mumbai. I need money to live my life now. need to earn,” he said.
He further added, “I have already started working on my body and auditioning for roles in TV, films and web series. I will play any role as this time my aim is not to make money or become famous, it is to stay in Mumbai so that I can be closer to my daughter Palak and enjoy such memorable evenings.”
Raja, who hails from Meerut, wrote on Instagram the document of his first meeting with Palak in 13 years. He had told a news portal that he had come to meet him at a restaurant in Andheri, Mumbai. He wrote in the caption of his selfie, ‘What to say.
Shweta Tiwari, known for playing the role of Prerna Bajaj in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, married Raja Chaudhary in 1998. However, they got divorced in 2007 due to alleged domestic violence against Shweta.
On the work front, Palak will be making her Bollywood debut with the film Rosy: The Kesar Chapter, which is produced by Vivek Oberoi. On the other hand, Shweta Tiwari recently participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi 11, which currently airs on Colors TV.
