Shreyas Talpade extended gratitude to his fans for wishing him on his birthday and praying for his recovery after the heart attack.

Bollywood actor-director Shreyas Talpade marked his 48th birthday on January 27, adding another chapter to his illustrious career. Renowned for his versatile roles in films like Iqbal, Dor, and Om Shanti Om, Shreyas has seamlessly transitioned from a gifted actor to a brilliant director. As birthday wishes pour in from fans and industry peers, Shreyas Talpade addressed his fans for the first time since his heart attack in 2023.

In a clip that was shared by the popular paparazzo handle Viral Bhayani, Shreyas Talpade can be seen enacting the dialogue from Pushpa: The Rise. He goes on to do the hand gesture and says, “Pushpa…Pushpa…Main jhukega nahi saala”. The video cuts to Shreyas thanking his fans for being there in his tough times. He can be heard saying,”I wanted to share this day with my fans, with all of you and I wanted to thank everyone for loving me so much, for praying for me, for blessing me. I think I am very fortunate.”

For the unversed, Shreyas Talpade suffered a heart attack in October last year. The actor, who is 47 years old, was reportedly shooting for his upcoming movie in Mumbai during the day. However, when he went back home, he complained of uneasiness and collapsed. Talpade was then rushed to a hospital where he later underwent angioplasty.

Born on January 27, 1976, in Mumbai, Shreyas Talpade initially explored acting in college plays, later expanding his repertoire to serials, dramas, and movies. Despite facing financial struggles early in his career, including the inability to afford a simple sandwich or bus fare to the studio, Shreyas persevered through hard work to establish himself as a prominent actor in both Hindi and Marathi cinema.

Having appeared in over 45 films, Shreyas Talpade made a significant impact in the South Indian film industry by lending his voice to Allu Arjun’s character in the movie Pushpa: The Rise. Beyond acting, Shreyas has ventured into directing and producing, owning the OTT platform Nine Rasa, which launched in 2021.
