Actually, due to the Corona epidemic, any kind of big religious event has been banned by the government. In such a situation, no movement is being done by the Deoghar district administration regarding the organization of Shravani fair on the occasion of Sawan month starting from 25th July. It can be understood from this that the state government is not in favor of allowing the Kanwar Mela and the gathering of devotees in the famous Baba Baidyanath temple of Deoghar. However, at present, no order has come from the state government regarding this big event. In such a situation, all eyes are on the statement of the government.

Entry of visitors barred in the temple
It is noteworthy that in Sawan, lakhs of devotees from every corner of the country come to see the temple of Lord Baidyanath, but like last time, this time too, the devotees may feel disappointed. In fact, on June 30, the Jharkhand government extended the restrictions like lockdown for the eighth time till further orders due to the corona epidemic. Under this, all religious places / places of worship are allowed to open, but the entry of visitors is prohibited.

Exemption to Kanwariyas entering Haridwar
Here, Jharkhand Director General of Police Neeraj Sinha said on Saturday (July 17) that people should follow and respect the restrictions imposed by the government in view of the Corona epidemic. He further said, ‘We have deployed police force on the borders of Bihar and Deoghar to prevent crowding.’ At the same time, Uttarakhand Police Chief Ashok Kumar has announced that despite the suspension of Kanwar Yatra, Kanwariyas entering Haridwar will be given exemption for 14 days.
