Shraddha Kapoor bumps into on-screen younger sister, shares pic from reunion

New Delhi: Shraddha Kapoor recently met her first co-star Jannat Zubair Rahmani. The actor took to social media and posted an adorable picture. Shraddha and Jannat had worked together in 2011 release ‘Luv Ka The End’. Jannat, an actress and now a popular social media influencer, played Shraddha’s younger sister Minty in the comedy-film. This was Shraddha’s second film after her debut film ‘Teen Patti’.

Jannat took to Instagram to share a picture showing their reunion. Along with a picture, she also shared a clip of the two on-screen sisters from the film on social media today. He captioned the photo, “12 years apart in America love you @sraddhakapoor.”

Shraddha too reshared the photo on her Instagram handle and wrote, “Tum na.. only wanted to hug us.. love you @jannatzubair29.” In the picture shared by Shraddha, she is seen wearing an oversized checked t-shirt dress while Jannat is dressed in jeans and a crop top. Regarding the photo, Shraddha wrote, ‘Pyaara Sabse’. Shraddha reposted her post and tagged Jannat and wrote, “Cute and lovely.” She also left red heart and kisses emojis.


On the work front, Shraddha Kapoor is all set to return to the silver screen with ‘Tu Jhooti Main Makkar’. She is paired opposite Ranbir Kapoor in the film and this is the first time the two are paired together. The film will hit the theaters in March 2023.


Apart from the title, the makers also released a short teaser of the film which received an overwhelming response from the audience. With a hint of finger-snapping title music by Pritam and lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya, the teaser video reveals the title and introduces the fun and funky chemistry between Ranbir and Shraddha as they lend their voices to the track. The title video gave a glimpse into the fabulously mischievous world of the film with adorable glimpses of ‘Jhoothi’ played by Shraddha and ‘Makkad’ Ranbir.



Shraddha will also be seen in ‘Chaalbaaz In London’ and producer Nikhil Dwivedi’s ‘Naagin’ trilogy.
