‘Showcase New India to World’: BJP Leaders Say G20 Summit, Schemes for Poor on Party’s Agenda

Giving details of S Jaishankar’s statement at BJP’s national executive meeting on Tuesday, party vice-president Baijayant Jay Panda said that India’s image at the international level has changed a lot in the last few years.

Giving information about Jaishankar’s statement, Panda said that there has been a lot of change in the image of India at the international level in the last few years. “Earlier we depended on other countries to get help, but today not only are we taking care of our own people but also helping other countries,” Panda said.

Emphasizing how India maintained the pace of economic growth even over developed countries during the pandemic, Panda said PM Modi wants the BJP leader to showcase the new India to those visiting the country.

“There will be 200 events across 50 venues which are historic in every sense… There are dedicated verticals like W20, Science 20, ThinkTank 20, Y20 for women and tasks have been assigned,” Panda said.

Many people of BJP cadre are busy in celebrating the G20 event. Panda said Jaishankar noted how the world is now looking at India from a different perspective and is being appreciated by other countries.

BJP Parliamentary Board member Sudha Yadav while giving a statement on poor welfare scheme said that Bihar Leader of Opposition Samrat Chowdhary, who is also an MLC, has read the statement on welfare schemes for the poor by the Modi government.

“When PM Modi took oath as PM, he said that his government would work for those who are marginalized and deprived. And the government did. It took care of houses, medical facilities, scholarships for poor students; Start-up India was also promoted. Har Ghar Jal Andolan has been promoted.
