On Wednesday, popular paparazzo account Viral Bhayani took to its official Instagram handle and claimed that the actress received death threats after a heated argument in Dubai. Reportedly, Pooja was there for a club opening but has now returned to India.

However, not much details about the incident are known as of now. Even Pooja Hegde’s team has not issued any official statement so far.

Soon after the paparazzo account shared the information, several of Pooja Hegde’s fans rushed to the comments section to express their concern. “This is not good at all,” one of the fans wrote. “Oh god! Please reach India safely,” another comment read. Several others asked if the actress is doing fine.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Pooja Hegde was last seen in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan along with Salman Khan. Released in April this year, the film received mixed reviews and failed to leave a mark at the Indian box office. Next, Pooja is set to star in an upcoming action thriller film titled Deva with Shahid Kapoor. The film is directed by Rosshan Andrews and is produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur and Zee Studios. The 5th film in the franchise has an ensemble cast including Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Kriti Kharbanda, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani and Chunky Pandey in the crucial roles.
