Last month, the Bombay High Court also suggested Nawazuddin Siddiqui and his wife Aaliya to amicably resolve their issues regarding their children.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s wife Aaliya has made fresh allegations against the actor, calling him an “irresponsible father”. On Wednesday, Aaliya released a statement in response to Nawaz’s open letter, which was released earlier this month. In her statement, Aaliya alleged that Nawaz’s male manager hugged her daughter in an ‘inappropriate’ manner several times even after she objected.
“The fact is that as an irresponsible father, ‘You sent my minor daughter along with your male manager to another country and accommodated her in (a hotel unit) without my knowledge and consent. Your male manager has Inappropriately hugged my minor daughter several times during the course of the visit and all this was done despite her objecting. You cannot deny that these acts were done by your manager when neither I nor you were around ‘
Alia said, “You still claimed to trust him blindly and when as a biological mother, I objected to what happened, you shifted your weight around and threatened to handle us today ” He also claimed that he had several proofs to prove his allegations.
In her statement, Aaliya also accused Nawazuddin of using his ‘money and political power’ to get the case registered against her. He also accused the police of being biased towards the actor.
“You never cared about the kids or me,” she wrote and added, “You never spoke to me and instead asked your mother to kick me out of the bungalow because you didn’t want to meet me”. Read Alia Siddiqui’s full statement here:
Alia’s statement comes days after Nawazuddin Siddiqui issued an open letter claiming that social media and the press are enjoying character assassination of him based on one-sided and manipulated videos. “Because of my silence I am called a bad guy everywhere because I kept quiet because all this tamasha will be read somewhere by my little kids. Social media platforms, press and a bunch of people are really enjoying character assassination of me on the basis of one sided and manipulated video. There are some points, I would like to express,” read a part of his note.
Meanwhile, in his recent conversation with Instant Bollywood, Nawazuddin Siddiqui also shared that he is worried about his kids and said that he just wants them to go to school.
Nawazuddin’s divorce case with Aaliya Siddiqui has been making headlines for a long time. Earlier too, Alia had claimed that Nawazuddin had ‘disowned’ her second child and alleged that the actor’s mother Mehrunnisa harassed her by not allowing her to enter the actor’s Mumbai home. Last month, the Bombay High Court also suggested Nawazuddin Siddiqui and his wife Aaliya to amicably resolve their issues regarding their children.
